Great sauna news Mikkeli and Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo!

Panko Concept, together with Bluet Floating Solutions, will implement a floating sauna restaurant for Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo in Mikkeli, Finland. The aim is to have a sauna bath already at the end of 2024.

The floating complex consists of two saunas, an outdoor pool, a lounge bar, and in the summer, a stunning rooftop terrace.

The Mikkelipuisto sauna complex is the first floating sauna restaurant in Finland – and perhaps in the whole world – in its size class. The unique mass timber sauna building is 272m² in size, the floating foundation 510m² and the rooftop terrace has space for more than 100 people.

It’s great to finally be able to implement this wonderful project and develop year-round tourism in South Savo with a floating sauna complex.
